Sara and Maria are characters from my buddy Devlin James debut trilogy Flame and Claw, which should be releasing early 2026. I’ve read the first book and- WOW. The pair are huge nerds who get caught up in a secret cold war of immortal beings and… you know what? Go read the books, I can’t wait for them!
Artemis Jones is the main character of a story I’ve been dabbling on for about a year. She needs a birthday present for her boyfriend, Kay, and answers an odd flyer advertising a magic sword for sale.
Unbeknownst to her, the sword is Excalibur, and the old coot selling it was Merlin.
Now, Arte has to reconstitute the round table, fend off the mysterious servants of a nameless ancient evil, and still find a way to make her half of the rent.
